Renew the protection of your trademarks at the end of their protection period for a further 10 years. Take the necessary steps to extend your trademark registrations in Switzerland and internationally within the legal deadlines. Contact our attorneys and legal experts for assistance.
The extension of a trademark registration must be requested from the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI). The request must be made during the year preceding the expiry of protection, i.e. during the tenth year of protection, since a trademark, once registered, is protected for 10 years. However, it is possible to apply for an extension no later than 6 months after the expiry of protection.
Legalify can help you extend your trademark registrations in Switzerland and internationally. Contact our lawyers for more information.
