Download a power of attorney

The purpose of a power of attorney is to temporarily transfer certain rights to another person, so that he or she can act on your behalf and carry out tasks that you are unable or unwilling to perform. This may involve, for example, dealing with an authority or a private entity such as a bank. The advantage of a power of attorney is that it enables you to delegate the performance of certain routine or unexpected tasks to a person who is better placed to deal with them.

A power of attorney can be granted in a professional capacity, for example to an architect or lawyer, or in a private capacity, for example to a close relative or trusted person.

A power of attorney can be withdrawn at any time by the person who granted it, at his or her own discretion.

The main elements that must appear in the power of attorney are:

- the name or company name of the person granting the power of attorney,

- the name or company name of the proxy,

- the scope of the power of attorney,

- the tasks that the proxy may perform,

- the conditions of execution (personal or with the help of third parties).
